The Romanian tennis player wins her second tournament in 2020 after defeating Elena Rybakina in Dubai Championship final in February.

Simona Halep ranks second in WTA rankings, after Ashleigh Barty. Before taking part at Prague Open, Simona Halep gave up Palermo tournament, to the disappointment of the Italian organizers.

For winning the Prague Open 2020, Simona Halep also gets 280 points and $25,000 as prize money.
