First Romanian Football Club to Launch NFT Collection in Partnership with Binance

Rapid Bucharest, one of the Romanian football teams with a rich tradition, becomes the first Romanian club to launch an NFT collection. This is supported by Binance, the largest web3 platform in the world.

The collection of free NFTs “FC Rapid Bucharest at 100 years old” is launched today with Binance, the largest web3 platform in the world. Free NFTs are collectibles that allow you to show your support for FC Rapid Bucharest and, at the same time, give you opportunities to earn rewards. This collection is just a first step towards a much bigger project we will launch with Binance on our 100th anniversary.

Rapid Bucharest fans can now redeem limited free NFTs in 5 different FC Rapid Bucharest events:

The Farul – FC Rapid match between May 2, 7:23 p.m. – May 4, 7:23 p.m.
FC Rapid – Sepsi OSK match between May 8, 7:23 p.m. – May 10, 7:23 p.m.
FC Rapid – CSU Craiova match between May 15, 7:23 p.m. – May 17, 7:23 p.m.
FCSB – FC Rapid match between May 22, 7:23 p.m. – May 24, 7:23 p.m.
Centenary events between 12 June 19:23 and 21 June 19:23

All free NFTs in this campaign have rewards attached, such as player-autographed jerseys, VIP grandstand seating, $100 each, limited edition scarves or Rapid stickers.

For the first event, the match Farul – FC Rapid, fans are invited to access the following link between May 2, 7:23 PM – May 4, 7:23 PM, where they will find all the details on receiving an NFT.

According to the club, only 1000 NFTs are available to claim before each event!

It is not the first NFT campaign to be launched by athletes or sportsmen in Romania. A few days before, the swimming world champion David Popovici launched his NFT collection in partnership with MultiversX.
