Football Museum Bucharest to Open Soon

The summer of 2022 plans to come with the first football museum opening in Bucharest, Romania, specially dedicated to all football lovers: Football Museum Bucharest.

The first football museum in Romania is scheduled to open in central Bucharest this summer. The attraction will be housed in a 1,500-square-meter structure in the capital’s Old Town.

According to a press release, the initiative required a total investment of EUR 1.2 million, which will be funded entirely through private sources. The founders anticipate 100,000 visitors in the first year, including Romanians and foreigners.

The idea of the Football Museum Bucharest was born from our passion for football and the desire to contribute to the conservation of the Romanian and international football heritage. We believe that Romanian football lovers will take delight in the idea of this project, especially because museums dedicated to football are an important attraction point on the tourist map of major European cities.

More than a unique museum, the Football Museum Bucharest will feature event rooms, a restaurant/football pub, a cafe, a fan shop, and exhibition spaces.
