Bucharest Fountain Show, one of the most sought-after attractions in Romania’s Capital, starts again this year on Friday, May 17.
The largest choreographed musical fountains in the world will entertain the inhabitants of Bucharest and the international tourists again in 2024, starting on May 17. This year, the Water Symphony show changes to the music of ABBA, Cher, Ricky Martin and many others, plus classic ballads in the fountains’ colourful lights enhanced by the summer night’s romance.
Apa Nova, the Capital’s water and sewerage provider, has invested more than 7 million euros in restoring the fountains in Unirii Square, helping transform the area into an urban attraction for both Bucharest residents and tourists.
The Urban Fountains in Piaţa Unirii will offer visitors multimedia shows from Friday until Sunday until the beginning of October. They have varied themes, and the selected songs complete the magic the water and lights show created. The shows last about 45 minutes, and it’s free to attend.
