The Only Open-Air New Year’s Eve Party in Bucharest Brings Drone Show and Aurora Borealis Installation

The City Hall of Sector 3 has set out to transform the traditional New Year’s Eve in Titan Park into a sublime event. The event will surprise its audience on New Year’s Eve by bringing to the forefront a fascinating concept: infinity. The show is structured so that symbols and shapes that represent infinity, perfection, and rebirth captivate the audience, transforming it into a sublime, perfect event.

Thus, the residents of Sector 3 and tourists in Bucharest are invited on December 31, from 8:00 PM, in Titan Park, near the Titans’ Horse statue, to embark on a fabulous journey on the night between the years, through music, visuals and special effects.

Simulation of the Northern Lights

If you missed the Reykjavik destination, it is enough to be present in Titan Park at the entrance marked with the Earth Globe. Here, an installation simulating the Northern Lights will be installed. Shortly before midnight between the years, the installation will be synchronized with all the show’s elements. Everything will happen during a multimedia show, which will greatly attract the event.

“Infinity Show” – a breath of energy, emotion and colour

“Northern Lights Hunters” are not only expected to participate in the “Infinity Show”, the multimedia show at midnight. This is an occasion to celebrate the transition to the New Year but also a unique opportunity to experiment and present multimedia technologies for an extra dose of magic and colour.

With an original soundtrack composed by composer George Popa, the “Infinity Show” will include visual effects with 150 state-of-the-art lights, lasers, custom graphics, mapping on the Titans’ Horse statue and pyro-musical fireworks.

Premiere in Romania: multimedia show with 320 drones

A premiere of this year’s show is the integration of 3D visual elements made with 320 drones. This is the most significant number of drones used in outdoor shows in Romania.

Infinity is represented by AI effects and art-sand

During the show, the audience will have the opportunity to experience visual and auditory effects generated by artificial intelligence and the vision of infinity, transposed into sand shapes by artist Mariana Pachis.

• Voltaj, with their energetic hits, the band that seems to have discovered the elixir of eternal youth;
• Compact, the legends of Romanian rock, ready to electrify the crowd with their immortal songs;
• Romanița, with her endless desire to experiment, but also to preserve and transmit cultural eternity;
• Gipsy Casual, with their Balkan rhythms, that make you dance non-stop, in a spiral of energy;
• OLiX, that will take us to a dimension where music has no end.
