IntenCity Festival is one of the recent music festivals in Romania. Not as famous as Untold or SAGA, but IntenCity is preparing to bring big names of international music to Craiova. The event will occur between June 30 and July 2, on two stages in the Craiova Sports Complex (Ion Oblemenco Stadium) and at the Polyvalent Hall.
Among the artists expected at the festival is Enrique Iglesias, one of the most successful artists of the last decades, named “Best Latin Artist” at the Billboard Awards several times. With over 14 billion views on YouTube/VEVO, he is undoubtedly one of the most-watched artists ever.
Tiësto is another big name on the list of artists present at the IntenCity Festival. He is considered one of the greatest DJs in the world, holding the titles of “Greatest DJ of All Time” according to Mixmag and “#1 DJ” according to Rolling Stone. With a career that began in the 90s and continues to impress, Tiesto has won multiple awards, including a Grammy.
Godz of Rock is another big name in the festival’s lineup; a band consisting of musicians known in the world of rock music: Simon Wright, Phil X, Gilby Clarke, Teddy ‘Zig Zag’ Andreadis, Joel Hoekstra, Jeff Scott Soto, Chuck Wright, Neil Turbin, Herma Sick, Herma Sick and Tim “Ripper” Owens. These artists (who were or are part of legendary rock bands such as AC/DC, Guns N’ Roses, Judas Priest, Bon Jovi, Anthrax and many more) are coming together, especially for the IntenCity Festival.
In addition to top artists, the main stage of the Ion Oblemenco Stadium will also feature other famous artists such as Alex Ferrari, Bellini, Dr. Alban, Gianluca Vacchi, Haddaway, Jenny Berggren from Ace of Base, Mahmut Orhan, Manuel Riva, Oceana, Ruslana, Sabrina, Snap!, Subcarpathians, Ummet Ozcan, WRS and Zdob and Zdub, the Moldovan rock band.
This year, unlike the previous edition, the IntenCity Festival will also have a stage in the Multipurpose Hall, which will be animated by the shows of well-known national and international artists such as SIGMA DJ Set, Yaya, Killa Fonic, Deliric x Silent Strike, Nane, Ian, Mr. Flexxx, AG Swifty, Rava, Argatu’, Azteca, DOC x Vlad Dobrescu, Byga & Phila & DJ H, Basska, M.G.L., Andre Rizo, Bad and Boujee, Brad Brunner, Bvcovia, Andrew Dum, Dodo, Marko Glass, NotSoCommonDJ, DJ Sauce, Mindcage, Malagamba, Replik, Your Midwife on Ice, Gabrian, Ve.Re, DJ Addytzu, Dj Gius, Andrei YC.
