The American media giant presented on Monday the results of the journalistic investigations conducted over Rudolf Giuliani involvement in Romania in Trump-Biden scandal.
As we written before on Giuliani-Biden scandal, Trump’s lawyer and the former New York Mayor, Mr. Rudolf Giuliani, threatened Hunter Biden, Joe Biden’s son, to reveal his connections in Romania. We covered the connections of Hunter Biden to Romania before, more precisely he tried to help one of the Romanian businessman not to be convicted of corruption, but he failed to do so.
Now, CNN reveals that Rudolf Giuliani has a great involvement in Romania in the so called “Hunter Biden scandal”, as Rudolf Giuliani sent a letter to the Romanian presidency in which he criticized the Romanian anti-corruption efforts and said these efforts seriously affected the flow of foreign investments in the country. This letter was sent, as journalists say, within a lobbying campaign in a hope this will get the businessman free, but it had no effect whatsoever.
According to Romanian lobbying specialized info portal, lobby in Romania is not yet legislated, yet there are many firms that act as lobbying agencies.
The problem with the letter issued by Trump’s lawyer, though, is that it was against the USA rule of law policy and with the American-Romanian effort to fight corruption in the East European country.
