US President Donald Trump told Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar on a short visit to Ireland on Wednesday that the issue of his “wall, his border” will end by finding a positive solution, according to Agerpres.
The border between the Republic of Ireland and the British province of Northern Ireland is currently open to the movement of goods and people, the two countries being EU members, but Dublin fears that the exit of the British in the EU scheduled for October 31 will lead to the re-emergence of the physical frontier.
