The 3-month ROBOR rose to 3.25%

The 3-month ROBOR index, according to which interest on the majority of lei loans is calculated, has risen to 3.25%, according to data published by the National Bank of Romania (BNR) on Friday. On Thursday, the index stagnated at 3.24% for the third consecutive time, according to Agerpres.

On Friday, the index climbed to 3.25%. At the same time, the 6-month ROBOR rose from 3.37% to 3.38%. ROBOR (Romanian Interbank Offer Rate) is the average interest rate borrowed between banks in Romania, in lei, and its evolution is mainly related to the level of liquidity existing in the market.
