Wiz Khalifa was one of the stars to perform at the local festival ”Beach, Please!” in Constanta county, Romania. The American rapper is famous for his songs but also his indiscreet behaviour. Hours before the concert, he posted controversial reels on his Instagram account.
After his performance at the “Beach, Please!” festival in Costinești, Romania, Wiz Khalifa was taken into custody by local police after he was seen smoking what seemed like a joint of marijuana on stage.
Despite the incident, authorities allowed the rapper to finish his set before detaining him. Sources say he was taken to the Police Station and questioned about the joint’s provenance.
In Romania, there are strict laws on drugs, as consumption, production and distribution are strictly forbidden. More than that, the ”Beach, Please!” Festival has solid anti-drug consumption policy made Wiz Khalifa’s behaviour more inadequate.
The festival, featuring artists like Travis Scott, continued as planned. It has garnered significant attention not only for its star-studded lineup but also for the unexpected police intervention.
