Starting from today, Romanians from Diaspora can register online for electoral voting. The measure was taken by the Romanian Government after the problems which Romanians from abroad faced when trying to vote during the last elections.
This is why any Romanian who is willing to express the vote for the presidential elections can register from today, July 28, until September 11. The registration must be accomplished on www.votstrainatate.ro and it is a platform developed for the Permanent Electoral Authority, the official Romanian authority for elections and election matters.
The online voting has just been legally approved in Romania and the Government hopes this will allow all the Romanians from abroad by correspondence, without having to spend hours in line in front of the embassies or consulates.
