Romania – very attractive to foreign investors

The Austrian company Baumit, one of the largest construction materials factories in Europe, invests 3 million euros in the village of Şag near Timişoara. Providing high-quality, innovative and environmentally-friendly construction systems and materials, as well as state-of-the-art technology such as self-propelled silos and mechanized application machines, the company will offer between 35 and 45 jobs in Şag.

Foreign investments in Romania have contributed significantly to the modernization of the national economy and its integration into the European economy and international production chains.

According to the NBR, Romania gained more foreign direct investment, in January 2019 it grew by 85%, or 362 million euros.
