Romania to get 3 million euros for innovation and digitalization

Romania could benefit from an allocation of over 3 billion euros, starting in 2021, for companies developing innovation and digitization projects, Svetlana Gomboş, general director for European Competitiveness Programs of the Ministy of European Funds, said on Wednesday at a conference regarding the future of the digital market in Romania.

She specified that all government institutions in Romania must be connected digitally, in order to achieve e-governance, so that information is not entered multiple times in the system.

On the other hand, the MFE official said that 11 hospitals and five pre-hospital units will be linked in big data systems. “Beyond the governance side, we are also addressing the public authorities in the e-health side. With e-health, telemedicine, we will link 11 hospitals and five pre-hospital units to big data systems that will be able to offer telemedicine in the future. ”
