Good news for the Romanian currency and BET index after presidential elections

Monday, 25th of November, right after the presidential elections, the Romanian currency and the BET index, which is the composite index of Bucharest Stock Exchange, showed good signs of improvement.

First, the Romanian currency, which had declined both against the Euro and the US Dollar in the previous weeks, gained back a few points, and now the exchange rate is 4.7722 RON for 1 Euro.

Also, BET index grew with 0.55%, up to 9,772.01 points, which is a record for the last 11 years, in a day when there were exchanges worth of Euro 3.84 M.
