Bucharest is Considered to be Safe for Travel after Reaching 46.7pc Vaccination Rate

Most European countries are approaching the vaccination target of 70% of the population. On the other hand, Romania has only a 24.48% vaccination rate which is well below the level of immunization in Europe. Only Bulgaria has a lower vaccination rate than Romania, with 17%.

Despite this, the vaccination rate with at least one dose has exceeded 50% in Bucharest, Romania’s capital. Moreover, 46.7% of Bucharest dwellers received both doses or full treatment. That is why Bucharest, is considered a very safe city for tourists. There is a good reason to travel to Bucharest at ease and to visit the beautiful places the city offers.

Besides, starting from August 1, tourists will enjoy an additional series of relaxation measures. Their presence is most visible when you walk around Bucharest Old Town, one of their favourite destinations in Bucharest.

After hosting the football games played in Bucharest at EURO 2020, In October 2021, the city is going to host DOTA2 The International 10, a competition which grew so much during the last years. The pool prize is more than 40 million USD and the 18 teams will fiercely fight for the big pot, but also the trophy: Aegis of Champions.
