Romania’s economy increased by 3% in Q3 2019

Despite the economic slowdown in the European Union, Romania’s economy keeps on growing above the international financial institutions’ expectations. Though below the previous quarters, in Q3 2019 Romania’s economy increased by 3%.

Some analysts stress out the decreasing tendency, as this 3% got in Q3 is lower than the 4,9% in Q1 and 4,3% in Q2. Overall, the Romania’s economy grew with 4% in the first 9 months of 2019, which is a record in EU.

Yet, there is a problem, technically speaking: the Romanian budget for 2019 was drafted on an assumed growth of 5,5%, which is 1,5% more than the actual tendency. If the new Romanian Government will be able to maintain the current growing rhythm, we’ll see only in Q4.

Romania is one of the European countries whose economies grow steadily despite the evolution on the European or international markets.
