France is dealing with a significant wildfire in the Gironde region in the southwest of the nation, where 15,000 hectares have burned. Smaller wildfires are reportedly occurring all over France, specifically in Maine-et-Loire, Aveyron, Drôme, Isère, or the Pyrénées-Orientales, according to the French media. Until at least the end of the week, according to forecasters, temperatures will stay in the 40s.
Romania also faces a major rise in wildfires in 2022, a significant problem in many other countries due to climate change.
