Romanian IT exports will reach EUR 4.7 billion in 2019

According to the Romanian Employers Association in the Software Industry (ANIS), Romanian IT exports will reach EUR 4.7 billion in 2019, which is an all-time record for the Romanian IT market.

Also, the Romanian IT market is to reach a total volume of EUR 5.9 billion, which is more than EUR 500 million above the last year’s result. Most of this volume comes from software and service segment.

A good percentage of the volume is produced by large companies (EUR 2.7 billion), while the small ones, of up to 50 employees, produce EUR 2.1 billion and the medium-sized ones produce EUR 1.2 billion.

The specialists’ estimations for 2020 indicate a total volume of EUR 7.3 billion for the IT market, most of it counting for export.
