Nicki Minaj To Perform at SAGA Festival in Bucharest

SAGA Festival’s organizers announced that Nicki Minaj would perform in Bucharest in June. This is the international star’s first concert in Romania.

SAGA Festival is one of the most anticipated music festivals in Bucharest, along with Summer Well, Summer in the City or Nostalgia. Each year, it gathers some of the most famous worldwide musicians and bands and offers a certain vibe to all who attend the three-day event.

Nicki Minaj, whose real name is Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty, is a Trinidadian-born rapper and singer who has become a powerhouse in the American music industry. Often hailed as the “Queen of Rap,” she’s known for several key things, including her versatility in trying many styles and genres.

Nicki Minaj’s career exploded in the late 2000s with mixtapes. Her debut album, “Pink Friday,” solidified her place in the rap scene, and she’s been churning out hits ever since. Billboard recognizes her as the top-selling female rapper of the 2010s, and her accolades include numerous awards like the American Music Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, and BET Awards.

She’s not just a rapper, though. Nicki Minaj is a cultural icon with a massive fanbase known as the “Barbz.” She’s also dabbled in acting and recently released a song with rapper Ice Spice called “Barbie World.”

Nicki Minaj is the last star announced to offer an incredible experience at the SAGA Festival in Bucharest. The organizers also announced Armin Van Buuren, ARTBAT, Dennis Lloyd, James Hype, Loreen, Nico Moreno, and Raye in this year’s lineup.
