The National Robotics Championship in 2022 will be held inside the Bucharest Polyvalent Hall on April 2-3, and a large number of participants is expected, as well as spectators passionate about robotics.
The sixth edition of the National Robotics Championship is part of the FIRST Tech Challenge Romania program, Romania’s most extensive robotics program for high school students.
Many robotics teams will compete in the national profile tournament with over 40 robots and three top teams representing Romania at the World Championship in Houston, Texas.
This year, 176 teams from all over Romania have entered the competition, with the best 48 teams from the Regional Competitions competing in Bucharest at the National Championship. Many of them already have received worldwide recognition.
According to Agerpres, the competition will be held at Polyvalent Hall. The Nation Through Education Association has been organizing the FIRST Tech Challenge Romania robotics program since 2016.
Romania’s performance in robotics at an international level is impressive, and it must be appreciated. Students passionate about robotics impress every year with unique inventions. Although the education system does not contribute enough to the development and evolution of this segment through modern robotics laboratories in schools, Romania performs in robotics and tech challenges every year. As a result, a Romanian robotics team AutoVortex became the world champion at the International Robotics Championship “FTC Russia 2021”, held in the Russian Federation on April 23-25.
