Holztock Festival returns in 2022 with another social cause as its primary goal. This time, the festival aims to raise funds for refurbishment works on the fortified church in Hosman, Sibiu county.

The eighth edition of the Holzstock Festival is taking place this August in an exceptional setting. The event is held at the Hosman Fortified Church, the building organizers want to raise funds for it and bring it back to life.

Holzstock isn’t just a festival, it is also our way to give something back to the community that welcomes us with open arms.

According to the organizers, the money collected last year from ticket sales was used to restore half of the roof of the parish house of the fortified church. The Holzstock Festival aims to continue its restoration project in 2022 as well.

This festival has a unique setting thanks to the proximity of the church citadel in Hosman and the breathtaking view of the Fagaras Mountains. The two days of the festival are filled with music, work/creative workshops, sporting activities, watching movies, debates, songs around the campfire, and the chance to go on short hikes throughout the Hosman village region.

What is impressive about this festival is that by buying a ticket, you can not only enjoy a music festival in a stunning setting but also donate to a rehabilitation project in Romania at the same time.

The music lovers can participate in various seminars or go on hikes around Hosman village along with the music. There is a van and tent camping area for visitors to enjoy the Holzstock atmosphere.

The season ticket costs about EUR 40, the ticket for a single day is about EUR 20, and you can purchase them from the Entertix website.
