Romania enters Phase II in its fight against COVID-19. The phase was instated when Romania registered its 25th case of infected person on its territory.
The number of cases doubled in the course of just two days, and at the time of publishing this article, Romania has registered 44 Coronavirus infected cases and this number is expected to rise in a short time.
Phase II is meant to delay the spread of Coronavirus and to prepare the hospitals for Phase III. This is entered when Romania registers its first 100 Coronavirus infected cases on its territory. Drastic measures are taken to identify all those who are infected and to quarantine all the suspected cases.
Also, law enforcement officers and prosecutors are criminal charging those who lie about their recent traveling or those who don’t comply with the quarantine measures.
