Romania won the European Table Tennis Championship

The Romanian women’s team won the gold medals at the European table tennis championships in Nantes (France) on Sunday, after defeating Portugal with a score of 3-0 in the final.

The Romanian women’s team consists of Elizabeta Samara, Bernadette Szocs, Daniela Dodean Monteiro, Adina Diaconu and Irina Ciobanu. “We are a team, I won for the team. I feel good after these victories and I hope to keep în shape for the last match. The secret of a new final I will not tell. We want to win the title again,” said Eliza Samara immediately after the semifinal match.

Romania has won the fifth continental title after those from: 1992, 2002, 2005 and 2017.
