AmCham: Romania Has Historic Chance to Start Major Projects, Reforms

According to the representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce in Romania, AmCham, Romania has the historic chance to start major projects and reforms this year.

Romania’s accession to the OECD is a common priority, desirable until 2025, an objective that also requires intense efforts by the Romanian authorities responsible for implementing economic policies but for which we can count on strong support from the business community.

These favorable elements create the premises for real consultations and collaborations, of a partnership between the business environment and the public sector to start and implement common objectives that will lead to confidence building and a predictable investment climate in Romania, sending a positive message to the Romanian companies. Dialogue and collaboration between the authorities and the business environment will contribute to reducing the uncertainty under whose domination begins this year and to transforming it from a risk factor into a development opportunity for Romania, made possible by capitalizing on financial resources, digital and human resources that our country has. ” according to the quoted document.

According to Agerpres, the connection with the international business environment is ensured by the accreditation of AmCham Romania by the US Chamber of Commerce and the affiliation to the European network of the American Chambers of Commerce. Internally, AmCham Romania enjoys good institutional collaboration with the United States Embassy in Bucharest and is part of consultation platforms such as the Coalition for the Development of Romania together with other partner organizations in the associative environment that pursue common objectives.

AmCham Romania is one of the most representative associations of the Romanian business community, recognized as a promoter of public-private dialogue on issues related to the business environment, public policies with an impact on the economy, Romania’s competitiveness or the dynamics of trade relations between USA and Romania.
