Mexico announced on Thursday it will deploy 6,000 members of the National Guard at the southern border to prevent migrants attempting to reach the US from entering its territory, an announcement amid Washington’s threats to punitive customs, according to Agerpres.
The measure of the deployment of the National Guard, confirmed in Washington by the head of Mexican diplomacy, Marcelo Ebrard, adds to other gestures meant to “improve” US President Donald Trump.
