Israel will play its EURO 2024 Qualifying match against Romania in Budapest, Hungary, on November 18. Also, in Budapest, on November 15, Israel will play against Switzerland.
UEFA suspended all games in Israel because of the war in Gaza. but Budapest is designated as a host for the Israeli team for all the games remaining to be played at home. Israel will also play away in Kosovo on November 12.
Romania is the leader in Group I, but the team has to win at least one game more from the next ones against Israel and Switzerland to hope for qualification to the final tournament.
On the other hand, Israel, now in third, could outrank Switzerland and Romania if the results are in their favour in both games.
The main favourites in Group I, Romania and Switzerland, have the best chances to qualify for Germany’s EURO 2024.
