The race takes place in Canada, near the Arctic Pole and few competitors do finish it. This year only two of those who entered the race reached the finish: the Romanian Tibi Useriu, who ranked second, and the Swiss Fabian Imfeld, who won the race.

The Romanian is nicknamed ”The Iceman” in his country and won in his turn the race three times, in 2016, 2017 and 2018. In 2019 the Romanian hero abandoned the race, due to frostbites.

Tibi Useriu finished after 170 hours, meaning 7 days of fighting muscle pain, fatigue and the extreme cold weather.
